As the UK Technical Director for Microsoft Business Applications I have overall responsibility for Customer Experience, Customer Service, Finance & Supply Chain and the Power Platform.

I have many years in leadership roles including Sales, Pre Sales, CTO and Technology Leadership, Product & Programme Management, Business Analysis & Strategy with full software development lifecycle experience. 

My role and that of my team is to:
1. Understand our customer’s key business needs
2. Help them achieve these needs with tangible business outcomes
3. Bring the value of the entire Microsoft cloud to help organisations transform their business and drive growth

Previously at Microsoft I held the role of UK Technical Director for Global Partner Solutions,  I had responsibility for leading the transformation of the UK partner ecosystem. The mission was to deliver customer success through our partners by focussing on business outcomes, innovation and sustainable business models.

Prior to Microsoft I held various roles across product management, development and delivery of highly successful and award winning products to the financial services sector including:

  • Mergermarket.com a market leading financial cloud based intelligence delivery system – Mergermarket was sold for nearly $200m
  • A Hedge Fund CRM system voted best in class by Buy Side Magazine 2010
  • Pegasus CRM a leading corporate and wholesale banking system
  • DataShelter a data residency solution that came second at the Cloud Computing World Series Awards 2011
